Commander and sole occupant of the First Federation Ship, the Fesarius. Balok's mission in life is to explore new forms of life. However, given his tiny, childlike appearance, and that he has no crew of his own, he deceives new life forms into believing that he is more menacing than he truly is. He uses the guise of his puppet ego to test new life forms, so he can discover whether they are in fact as peaceful as they appear. |
